Season comes to an end for West boys

Milwaukee Washington had four players score 15 points or more Saturday as it defeated Wauwatosa West, 78-67, in a Division 1 WIAA regional final.

Senior Terry Taylor and junior Melvin Cook lead the Purgolders with 17 points each, while senior Sam Krenzien led the Trojans with 21 points.

Washington moves on to face Milwaukee Riverside in the sectional semifinal on Thursday

Wauwatosa West finishes the season with a 16-6 record.
