Wild United dropped a 5-2 decision to Greendale at the Pettit Ice Center on Jan. 19 and finished the week with a 7-2 loss Jan. 23 at the Beaver Dam Family Center.
Against Greendale, the Panthers scored in the first period, but the Wild tied the game on a goal from Ben Christie with an assist from Ryan Regeth.
The Panthers then went up 3-1 in the second period, but the Wild United cut the lead to 3-2 in the third period on a goal by Stephen Dahl coming on a pass from Kadin Pasley.
The Panthers then added two more goals in the third to make it a 5-2 game, out-shooting the Wild United, 63-22.
The Wild United were outshot, 86-18, in the loss as Beaver Dam scored two goals in the first period, two in the second and three in the third.
The Wild United scored in the first period on a power-play by Christie with assists by Dahl and Regeth. The second goal was scored by Dahl as Regeth and Alex Sommerfeld assisted.
"We fought really hard," coach Pete Koszarek. "We had a few guys out due to various things, so we had a shorter bench then usual.
"Matt Ranta once again held us in this game; he should get a lot of the credit. The guys are really starting to play the way they need to play. We still make mistakes but that is how we learn and get better as a team."
The Wild United fell to 0-14-0.
