The Wild United lost one game on the ice and then never played their second game because of a lack of transportation.
Kenosha blanked the Wild, 7-0, on Dec. 16 at Pleasant Prairie Ice Center.
"One goal was scored in the first period we played our positions very well," Wild coach Pete Koszarek said. "But we were not able to hold on. They scored twice in the second period - both were short-handed goals."
As usual, goalkeeper Mike Ranta had a courageous game, with 79 saves out of 85 shots.
The Wild United were then scheduled to play at DeForest on Dec. 19, but ran into some transportation problems.
"We had to cancel the DeForest game as the bus never showed up to take us over," Koszarek said. "I am trying to reschedule that game for another date."
The Wild United played Greendale on Dec. 22 at The Ponds and they are now off until Dec. 27 when they play the annual alumni game at 1:30 p.m. at the Petitt Ice Center.
The Wild United will also play in the Baraboo Holiday Tournament on Dec. 29-30 at 5:30 p.m. and 10:30 a.m., respectively, at the Baraboo Pierce Park Rink.
