Tosa East girls basketball club looking to reorganize
The Tosa East Girls Basketball program is inviting parents of middle school athletes interested in playing basketball to attend a meeting to discuss reorganizing the Wauwatosa Basketball Club.
The meeting is set for 7 p.m. Sept. 28 in room 255 at Wauwatosa East High School, 7500 Milwaukee Ave. This club will focus on skill development and game experience. If your daughter is currently in grades 5-8 and in the Wauwatosa East High School attendance district, the Red Raiders would like to create an opportunity to play basketball this winter.

Tosa East basketball golf outing set for Oct. 10
The third annual Red Raiders Basketball golf outing is set for Oct. 10 at New Berlin Hills Golf Course.
There is a $75 fee per golfer, $95 with a contest package. Both packages include 18 holes, a cart, lunch, a drink at the turn and a free visor.

U13-14 Junior Raiders set baseball tryouts
The Wauwatosa East Junior Raider organization will be conducting a baseball tryout for the 2010 season from players currently in seventh and eighth grade.
Tryouts will be held from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Sept. 20 and 27 at Breitlow Field, 121st Street and West North Avenue. Players should plan on attending both of the tryouts.
The Junior Raider Baseball teams play in the Wisconsin State League, which is comprised of teams from surrounding communities.
The teams will play an extremely competitive 20-game schedule plus tournaments. The season begins May 1 and ends approximately July 31.
Players attending the tryout must live or attend school in the Wauwatosa East attendance area and be attending Wauwatosa East High School starting in ninth grade.
