BURGLARY

1A side-door window was smashed and multiple items were taken from a residence in the 4300 block of North 94th Street between 9:40 p.m. Oct. 12 and 7:40 a.m. Oct. 13. Two televisions and other electronics were taken, amounting to a loss estimated at $3,144.

THEFT

A man called police after he paid for an iPhone valued at $450 and received an empty box instead at noon Oct. 4.

2A woman's wallet and credit cards were taken from Five Guys, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 6:48 p.m. Oct. 7. They were used to make $1,095 worth of purchases from multiple stores. Police are reviewing video surveillance.

3A woman called police after her wallet was stolen and credit cards used at Boston Store, 2300 N. Mayfair Road, at 6:58 p.m. Oct. 8. Police are following up on three possible suspects. The total value of items purchased was $142.

4A vehicle's window was smashed and a purse taken out of it at YMCA, 2420 N. 124th St., between 9 and 11:45 a.m. Oct. 9. The window was valued at $250 and the purse and belongings were worth $360.

5A tablet computer valued at $399 was taken from a residence in the 2400 block of North 62nd Street at 8 p.m. Oct. 9. The victim believes his 20-year-old son took it.

6A backpack was taken out of a locked car in the 11000 block of West North Avenue between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Oct. 10. The backpack and its contents are valued at $300, with damage to the car estimated at $100.

7A window was smashed out and several valuables including medical equipment were taken from a car parked in the 8900 block of Watertown Plank Road between 8:40 and 9:10 a.m. Oct. 10. The total value of items taken is $776 and the damage to the window is estimated at $350.

8A rental car was listed as stolen after a 23-year-old Milwaukee man failed to return it to Mayfair Rent-a-Car, 1750 N. Mayfair Road, at 10:21 a.m. Oct. 10. The man rented the car through Sept. 24.

9A rental car was listed as stolen after a 27-year-old Milwaukee woman failed to return it to Mayfair Rent-a-Car, 1750 N. Mayfair Road, at 11:01 a.m. Oct. 10. The woman rented the car through Oct. 1.

10Two 18-year-old Milwaukee women were arrested for taking $333 worth of clothing from Forever 21, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 8:45 p.m. Oct. 10. One of the suspects had three outstanding warrants for prior retail theft.

11Two pairs of sunglasses valued at $300 were taken from Solstice at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 4:25 p.m. Oct. 11.

12Sunglasses, an iPod connector and a first aid kit were taken out of an unlocked vehicle parked in the 2200 block of North 71st Street between 5:30 p.m. Oct. 11 and 7 a.m. Oct. 12. The total loss was $200.

13Sunglassses and a Bluetooth cord with a total value of $600 were taken from an unlocked car in the 2500 block of North 72nd Street between 10 p.m. Oct. 11 and 6 a.m. Oct. 12.

14A 40-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for taking a pair of jeans valued at $154 from Dry Goods, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 3:12 p.m. Oct. 12.

15A GPS and jacket, total value of $280, were taken from an unlocked car in the 2500 block of North 72nd Street before 5 p.m. Oct. 12.

16A digital media player valued at $320 was taken from a vehicle in the Extended Stay parking lot, 11121 W. North Ave. between 9 p.m. Oct. 12 and 2:35 p.m. Oct. 14. The window of the vehicle was smashed out to gain entry.

17A pair of sunglasses valued at $199 were taken from Solstice at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 2:15 p.m. Oct. 13. Police are reviewing video surveillance.

18A 2000 Chrysler Cirrus LXI valued at $2,600 was taken from a driveway in the 7700 block of West North Avenue at 9:10 p.m. Oct. 13. There was no glass at the scene and the keys weren't in it at the time of theft.

19A 16-year-old Milwaukee girl was arrested for taking clothes from Target, 3900 N. 124th St., at 11:20 a.m. Oct. 14. The suspect took $299 worth of clothes for her 4-month-old baby. The suspect said that she had the money to pay for the clothes, but didn't want to spend it.

Police responded to nine thefts of items valued at less than $100 this week.

DRUG POSSESSION

20A 22-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman, both from West Allis, were arrested and charged with fraud at Pick 'n Save, 6950 W. State St., at 10:17 a.m. Oct. 10. The couple tried to order 90 Oxycodone pills by changing the date of a prescription. The woman had a pipe and straw used for sniffing pills.

ACCIDENTS

21An 86-year-old woman was sent to Froedtert Hospital for neck and head pain after crashing into the Pick 'n Save, 6950 W. State St., at 3:41 p.m. Oct. 10. The woman was trying to exit a parking lot and hit the accelerator instead of the brakes. There was little damage to the building.

22A 44-year-old woman and a 47-year-old-woman were taken to Froedtert Hospital after a rear-end crash in the 9200 block of Watertown Plank Road at 7:34 a.m. Oct. 11. The 44-year-old woman said that her brakes went out on her before she rear-ended the second vehicle. Police say that a check showed her brakes were working properly.

VANDALISM

23The words "aloha," "benos," "juice," "hielo" and "therd" were spray-painted on the side of a carwash at Uptown Lincoln Mercury, 2111 N. Mayfair Road between 6 a.m. Oct. 8 and 2:30 p.m. Oct. 9.

24A golf ball was thrown through a window screen in the 2200 block of North 71st Street at 8:32 p.m. Oct. 8. The ball cracked a window, causing damage estimated at $200.

25A car window was smashed at Massage Envy, 2751 N. Mayfair Road, between 11:30 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. Oct. 9. The vehicle had large duffel bags in it, which were not taken. The damage is estimated at $250.

26A truck's window was smashed out at Capital Construction, 11820 Ripley Ave., between 3 p.m. Oct. 9 and 8:29 a.m. Oct. 10. The suspects also tried to get into the cage behind the window, but couldn't. Damage is estimated at $1,100.

OTHER

27A 25-year-old Wauwatosa woman reported being bit by a dog at 64th Street and Wisconsin Avenue at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 8. The dog's shots were up to date and it had not bitten anyone in the past. The woman suffered a ¾ -inch gash on her leg.

28A 15-year-old Milwaukee boy was arrested after he was found bringing tobacco and rolling papers to Wauwatosa East High School, 7500 Milwaukee Ave., at noon Oct. 9.

29A man was beat by five to seven black men at Mayfair Mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 1:19 p.m. Oct. 10. The man had called them a racial slur, which resulted in them following him out of the mall and attacking him.

30A vehicle listed as stolen was found in a parking lot in the 7900 block of West North Avenue at 9:04 a.m. Oct. 14.
