Christ King
Christ King School will hold an open house for current and prospective school families from 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 29. In addition to visiting the 4-year-old kindergarten through eighth-grade classrooms, guests can enjoy an ice cream sundae in North Hall and stop by the Scholastic Book Fair in South Hall.
Eisenhower Elementary
The Eisenhower art show will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 17.
Lincoln Elementary
Brown Bag Lunch, a program intended to bring local community members to speak about their professions, was held at lunch Jan 16.
Longfellow Middle School
The Longfellow dance will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Jan. 18.
McKinley Elementary
The McKinley Open House and Art Show will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 17.
Roosevelt Elementary
The school spelling bee is taking place at 2:15 p.m. Jan. 17. The top three spellers will represent Roosevelt in the Jan. 31 district spelling bee at Longfellow Middle School.
St. Jude the Apostle
Registration for the 2013-14 school year has begun and private tours of the school may be scheduled with Principal Catherine LaDien by calling (414)-771-1520. An open house for prospective families will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 18.
Underwood Elementary
Underwood students participated in Hoops for Heart on Jan. 14. The program included basketball games and stressed healthy lifestyles.
Washington Elementary
The Washington PTA meeting will take place at 6 p.m. Jan. 17.
Wauwatosa Catholic

Wilson senior kindergartners will see a performance of "Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse" at Marquette University on Jan. 17.
