In Our Schools: Dec. 12

Eisenhower Elementary

Kindergarten to fifth grade had a sings concert at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Dec. 13.

Jefferson Elementary

Grades three to five had a concert Dec. 12.

Longfellow Middle

Longfellow held an orchestra concert at East at 7 p.m. Dec. 12.

Madison Elementary

Students and their parents had an opportunity to shop for special gifts at the Santa Secret Workshop on Dec. 12.

McKinley Elementary

McKinley had a sing concert for grade three to five on Dec. 13. Grades four and five will have a concert at 2 p.m. Dec. 14.

Roosevelt Elementary

Kindergarten to fifth grade had a sing concert Dec. 13.

St. Jude the Apostle

Fourth grade students will present their 50 States project Dec. 19. Each student has prepared a power point presentation that includes detailed data on a state's resources, industries and more. In addition, the students will present the play "The Scrambled States of America."

Underwood Elementary

Underwood Kids 2 Kids Toy Drive started Dec. 10 and will end Dec. 14. The drive's purpose is to show first hand the importance of sharing to students.

Washington Elementary

Kindergarten to second grade had a sing concert Dec. 13.

Wauwatosa Catholic

Wauwatosa Catholic School students in grades K4-3 will lead Jesse Tree services throughout Advent. Each service will begin with a song and lighting a candle on the Advent wreath. Classes are responsible for telling the story and adding symbolic ornaments to the tree.

Wauwatosa East High

Wauwatosa East's band concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 19.

Wauwatosa Montessori

Wauwatosa Montessori will have a concert from 2 to 3 p.m. Dec. 18.

Wauwatosa STEM

The Principal's Coffee took place at Stonecreek Coffee on Dec. 11. Parents were encouraged to bring up issues and provide feedback about the school.

Wauwatosa West High

Wauwatosa West will have a band concert at 7 p.m. Dec. 18. Auditions for the winter play begin at 3:30 p.m. Dec. 20.

Whitman Middle

Whitman will have a band concert at 7 p.m. Dec. 20.
