Hart Park Senior Center hosts a variety of activities in April

The Hart Park Senior Center, 7300 Chestnut St., hosts a variety of activities.

Members born in April will celebrate their birthday Tuesday, April 15. Call to register and bring a guest.

Avada will provide hearing screenings from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 16. Members will be tested and current hearing devices cleaned. Call the center for an appointment.

The center will sponsor a trip, Zoofari Behind the Scenes, at the Milwaukee County Zoo from 8:45 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. Wednesday, April 16. The cost is $25 for members and $30 for nonmembers. Lunch is not included.

Members of the Contemporary Book Group will discuss "The Round House" by Louise Erdich at 12:30 p.m. Monday, April 21.

Learn about veteran and survivor benefits at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 21. The program is free.

"The Book Thief" will be shown at 12:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday, April 24 and 25.

The center will sponsor a trip to the University of Wisconsin spring band concert Thursday, April 24. The cost is $60 for members and $65 for others.
