Will city add shelter, bathrooms at Hart Park?
Issue: A reader wants to know if there are plans to put in a shelter and a bathroom near the new Hart Park playground.
Status: Bill Porter, director of public works, said a shelter and bathroom is in the capital plan and work will begin on the structures in two years. The city will probably design the project in 2014, and it will be constructed and completed in 2015. For now the city has put a portable toilet next to the playground.
