Aug. 11, 2014

Robbery

1Two juveniles were arrested for forcibly robbing a woman and stealing her iPhone and North Face backpack in the 7200 block of West Meinecke Avenue at 7:20 a.m. Aug. 6.

Burglary

2Unknown suspects burglarized a residence in the 7000 block of Mary Ellen Place between 6 p.m. Aug. 1 and 10:45 a.m. Aug. 3.

3An Xbox 360, a Puma duffel bag, an HP tablet and up to 20 video games were stolen from a residence that was burglarized in the 9000 block of West Palmetto Avenue between 7:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Aug. 7. The suspect kicked the back door open to gain entry.

4Personal property was stolen from a home that was burglarized in the 2000 block of North 66th Street between 8 p.m. Aug. 7 and 1:15 p.m. Aug. 8.

5A man's home was burglarized in the 10000 block of West Glendale Avenue at 6:55 p.m. Aug. 8. He saw two male suspects flee in a black SUV with Wisconsin plates.

Theft

6Two suspects stole three DeWalt Power Tool kits, valued at $644, from Lowe's, 12000 W. Burleigh Street, at 7:13 p.m. July 31.

7A man's 2011 Audi A4 was reportedly stolen between 7:45 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 3 in the 2000 block of North 93rd Street.

8A man was arrested for stealing sunglasses from Macy's, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 6:05 p.m. Aug. 3.

9Gasoline was siphoned from a business van parked in the lot at Watts Communications, 149 N. 120th St., between 10:30 a.m. Aug. 2 and 8:30 a.m. Aug. 4. As a result, the van's gas tank suffered damage.

10About three dollars were stolen from two unlocked cars in the 6000 block of W. Wisconsin Ave. between 9 p.m. Aug. 3 and 8:30 a.m. Aug. 4.

11A male employee was arrested at 2:58 p.m. Aug. 4 for embezzling $140 from Walmart Market, 3850 N. 124th Street, after voiding transactions and giving away free merchandise since July 2.

12Personal items were stolen from a woman's purse while it was in a locked office at the Fischer Building, 12121 W. North Ave., between 6:25 and 8:07 p.m. Aug. 4.

13A woman was arrested for retail theft at Aldi, 12120 W. Burleigh Street, at 11:21 a.m. Aug. 5.

14Suspects stole a Dell laptop and computer bag from a man's car while it was parked in the lot at Mo's Irish Pub, 10842 W. Bluemound Road, between 11:45 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. Aug. 6.

15Suspects stole a woman's black iPhone 4 from her car while it was parked at Mo's Irish Pub, 10842 W. Bluemound Road, between 11:50 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. Aug. 6.

16Three bicycles were stolen from a woman's backyard in the 2000 block of North 66th Street between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. Aug. 6.

17Suspects stole an unknown number of tools from Kmart, 3201 N. Mayfair Road, at 3:45 p.m. Aug. 6. They were last seen in a bright green Honda Accord hatchback.

18A man's purple 1997 Plymouth Grand Voyager was stolen while it was parked in the lot of Wisconsin Lutheran College gym, 8725 W. Wisconsin Ave., between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Aug. 6.

19Hygiene products were stolen from Pick 'n Save, 6950 W. State St., at about 10:20 p.m. Aug. 6. The female suspect was last seen in a gold, Jeep Grand Cherokee.

20A male construction worker was arrested for concealing lingerie and a bottle of nail polish in an empty cordless drill case from Boston Store, 2400 North Mayfair Road, around 3 p.m. Aug. 7. The man had been helping remodel the store.

21An HP Pavilion laptop, black Canon digital camera and lenses, and a braided gold chain with a silver coin pendant were stolen from a man's hotel room at the Extended Stay, 11121 W. North Ave., at 9:32 p.m. Aug. 7. There are no suspects and were no signs of forced entry.

22A man was arrested for stealing tobacco from Tobacco Outlet, 11712 W. North Ave., at 7:43 a.m. Aug. 7.

23A woman's purse was stolen from 10721 W. Capitol Drive between 8:45 a.m. and 1 p.m. Aug. 7. One of her credit cards was later used fraudulently.

24Three male suspects were arrested for retail theft from Best Buy, 2421 N. Mayfair Road, at 7:50 p.m., Aug. 8.

25A male suspect stole about $60 in merchandise from Midtown Shell, 641 W. Hawley Road, at 8:41 p.m. Aug. 8.

26A woman's green 1998 Plymouth Grand Voyager was stolen from the 4700 block of North 118th Street between 9 p.m. Aug. 8 and 1 a.m. Aug. 9.

Drug offenses

27A juvenile was taken into custody for possession of marijuana and alcohol in the 6900 block of Grand Parkway at 12:33 a.m. Aug. 8.

28A man was arrested for possession of heroin, drug paraphernalia and bail jumping at Best Buy, 2421 N. Mayfair Road, at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 9.

Drunken driving

29A man was arrested for drunken driving in the 7400 block of West Bluemound Road at 11:42 p.m. Aug. 3.

30A man was arrested for drunken driving after striking a curb in the 1700 block of North Mayfair Road at 1:46 a.m. Aug. 5. His blood alcohol content was 0.13.

31A man was arrested for drunken driving after he drove through a flashing red signal on West Vliet Street and North 60th Street at 12:51 a.m. Aug. 6.

32A man was arrested for drunken driving and carrying a knife in the 6500 block of West State Street at 2:23 a.m. Aug. 8. His blood alcohol content was 0.20.

33A man was arrested for drunken driving after he dumped his motorcycle on North Mayfair Road and Watertown Plank Road and left the scene of the crash to go to his house, at 11:49 p.m. Aug. 8. His blood alcohol content was 0.13.

34A man was arrested for drunken driving following a noise complaint while he was parked in the 6200 block of West North Avenue at 3:04 a.m. Aug. 9. This was his third offense.

35A man was arrested for drunken driving in the 6400 block of West Bluemound Road at 11:19 p.m. Aug. 9. His blood alcohol content was 0.16.

Other

36A woman was arrested at the Lutheran Home for the Aging, 7500 W. North Ave., for loitering and prowling at 8:53 p.m. Aug. 4.

37A man was arrested for urinating in public at North 60th Street and West North Avenue at 11:09 p.m. Aug. 5.

38A woman was arrested for disorderly conduct in the Macy's parking lot, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 9:17 p.m. Aug. 7.

Police made one arrest this week related to domestic violence.
