1A woman was robbed by three to four males as she walked to her vehicle in the parking lot of McDonalds, 6631 W. North Ave., at 9:36 p.m. Nov. 29. She said they hit her in the head with a rock or the butt of a gun, pushed her to the ground and took her briefcase, which contained multiple credit cards, a cellphone and a laptop computer, together valued at $3,954. One of the suspects was pulled over when the phone was tracked to his vehicle. The other three were later located in an apartment. All four were arrested and the woman's property was returned.
2A man was arrested for burglary after a neighbor saw him enter a vacant home in the 4400 block of North 110th Street at 8:19 p.m. Nov. 26. Officers spotted the man outside the home and, while patting him down, found a crowbar on him. The officer was about to arrest the man when he pulled away and ran down the street, throwing the crowbar to the ground. After darting through a few lawns, the man eluded the officer. He was later caught in Maple Lane.
3A television, gaming system and cable box were taken from a home in the 8300 block of Portland Avenue between noon Nov. 18 and 9:53 a.m. Nov. 26. Police found the key to the home earlier on Nov. 26 and there were no signs of entry. Total loss is estimated at $2,129.
4Jewelry and collectible coins were taken from a home in the 10200 block of West Melvina Street between 10:20 a.m. and 6:20 p.m. Nov. 26. Total loss is estimated at more than $310. The home was entered through a pried window.
5A door was damaged in an attempted burglary of a home in the 2200 block of North 65th Street between 9:15 a.m. and 8:25 p.m. Nov. 28.
6A purse was taken from a home in the 1200 block of North 62nd Street between 10 p.m. Nov. 28 and 5 a.m. Nov. 29. Credit cards in the purse were then used to make a $50 fraudulent purchase at a Citgo gas station in Milwaukee. Total loss is estimated at $190.
7A home in the 7700 block of West Clarke Street was entered via a cut screen in a rear window between 6:30 and 9:10 a.m. Dec. 3, but nothing was taken. The homeowner received two calls from his home security, which stated that his side door alarm was tripped. The security system sent a guard, but no one was found. Damage to the screen is estimated at $30.
8A reel of copper wires was taken from a work trailer near Watertown Plank Road and Innovation Drive between 3:30 p.m. Dec. 3 and 7:15 a.m. Dec. 4. Wires were taken from nearby street poles as well. Total loss is estimated at $1,510.
9A woman reported $5,350 of her father's jewelry were taken from her home in the 2800 block of North Park Drive between Jan. 1, 2011, and April 1, 2012. She said she recently noticed the missing jewelry after doing an inventory of her father's possessions. Police are following up on a suspect.
10A woman reported a family member had taken $482 of items, including appliances and copper pipe, from her garage in the 2100 block of North 68th Street between 8 a.m. Nov. 1 and noon Nov. 27.
·A woman's credit card was used to make 10 fraudulent charges, a total of $1,835, between Nov. 4 and Nov. 12.
·A woman's bank card was used in seven attempted fraudulent purchases between noon Nov. 12 and noon Nov. 25. Only one purchase, a $300 cash advance from Western Union, was accepted.
11Tools were taken from a work van, an attempt was made to steal a work truck and a third work truck was entered but nothing was taken from it while they were parked in the 11800 block of West Ripley Avenue between 5 p.m. Nov. 15 and 7:45 a.m. Nov. 18. Total damage is estimated at $4,400.
12Loose change was stolen from a van parked in the 200 block of North 114th Street between 1 p.m. Nov. 23 and 12:30 a.m. Nov. 24. The vehicle's window was smashed and total loss is estimated at $302.
13A Remington 742 rifle was stolen from the back seat of a truck in the 2800 block of North Park Drive between 6 p.m. Nov. 24 and 4 p.m. Nov. 25. Total loss is estimated at $750.
14A bowling bag was stolen from a vehicle in the 500 block of North 106th Street between midnight and 8 a.m. Nov. 25. The vehicle's window was smashed. Total damage is estimated at $380.
15The front license plate was taken from a vehicle in the 2700 block of Mayfair Court prior to 1:44 p.m. Nov. 25.
·A woman's identity was used to try to open six credit cards, three of which were declined, between Nov. 23 and Nov. 26.
16A package valued at $50 was taken from the doorstep of an apartment in the 7800 block of West North Avenue between 12:01 a.m. Nov. 26 and noon Dec. 1.
17An employee's cellphone was taken while she was working a sunglasses kiosk at Mayfair Mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, between 1 and 2 p.m. Nov. 27. Total loss is estimated at $700.
18A man was arrested for taking 10 packs of razors, a total of $208, from Target, 3900 N. 124th St., at 7:31 p.m. Nov. 27. He also had open warrants for theft and drug possession.
19A woman reported a man took her wallet while at Leff's Lucky Town, 7208 W. State St., at 11:20 p.m. Nov. 27. The wallet had $150 in cash and multiple credit cards in it.
20A purse and leather bag were taken from a vehicle parked at Starbucks, 2751 N. Mayfair Road, between 10:10 and 10:20 a.m. Nov. 28. The vehicle's window was shattered. The purse had multiple credit cards in it. Total loss is estimated at $455.
21Police found and pursued a stolen car at the parking lot of Mayfair Mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 11:18 p.m. Nov. 28. The pursuit lasted 15 seconds while the vehicle accelerated to 51 mph. Police stopped pursuing it due to the high rate of speed.
22A woman was arrested for taking a necklace, socks and bag from Macy's at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 12:26 p.m. Nov. 29. She admitted to taking the items, valued at $162.
23An employee's purse was taken from an unlocked office at LensCrafters at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, between 1:30 and 2 p.m. Nov. 29. The purse contained $250 in cash and many credit cards, which were used to make more than $800 in fraudulent transactions.
24A 1999 Chrysler Concorde was stolen while it was parked at West Wisconsin Avenue and Bel Air Circle between 3 and 6:45 p.m. Nov. 30. Total loss is estimated between $3,000 and $4,000.
25All four tires were taken from two vehicles parked in the 2100 block of North Mayfair Road between 5 p.m. Nov. 30 and 8 a.m. Dec. 2. Both vehicles were left on the ground, and the one had a window smashed. Total loss is estimated at $10,014.
26A cellphone was stolen from a man while he was playing basketball at West Suburban YMCA, 2420 N. 124th St., between 4:50 and 6 p.m. Dec. 3. Total loss is estimated at $100.
27Three pair of sweatpants and three hooded shirts were taken from Victoria's Secret at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 7:50 p.m. Dec. 3. Total loss is estimated at $480.
28A woman was arrested for taking a total of 14 items from Pac Sun, Torrid and Aéropostale at Mayfair Mall, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 5:12 p.m. Dec. 4. Among the items taken were shirts, pants, headphones and panties, amounting to a total loss of $438. She admitted to taking the items.
29A 2001 Pontiac Bonneville was stolen while it was left running in a parking lot in the 6000 block of West Vliet Street between 8:05 and 8:15 a.m. Dec. 5. Total loss is estimated at $2,000.
· Police responded to two thefts of items valued at less than $100.
30A man was arrested for possession of marijuana after he was pulled over for running a stop sign at North 100th Street and West Glendale Avenue at 5:16 p.m. Nov. 25. The vehicle smelled like marijuana and a canine search turned up 7 grams of the substance.
31A man was arrested for retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia after he was caught taking about 10 cans of Red Bull from Currie Park Auto, 10745 W. Capitol Drive, at 3:14 p.m. Nov. 27. He said he took from the store in Wauwatosa because stores in the "hood" have security. He also had a crack pipe on him, which he said he was planning to smoke crack out of in celebration of Thanksgiving.
32A man was arrested for drunken driving, fourth offense, and cocaine possession after he was pulled over during an OWI task force operation at 12:01 a.m. Nov. 28. He had 1.5 grams of cocaine on him, and his blood alcohol content was 0.14.
33A man was arrested for drunken driving, first offense, after he was found driving with expired plates at North 76th Street and West Townsend Avenue at 2:10 a.m. Nov. 28. His BAC was 0.14
34A man was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, after police found him slumped over the wheel of his vehicle in the 2200 block of North Mayfair Road at 4:56 a.m. Nov. 28. When woken, he told police he wished he would have made it home and that he had more drinks than would be considered sober. His BAC was 0.14.
35A man was arrested for drunken driving, first offense, after he was kicked out of Metcalfe's Sentry, 6700 W. State St., for being too drunk and driving to his home in the 1500 block of North 68th Street at 3:18 p.m. Nov. 29. He stumbled multiple times when police questioned him and began crying. His BAC was 0.34.
36A man was arrested for drunken driving, first offense, after he was found asleep at the wheel of a U-Haul truck in the middle of traffic in the 10000 block of West Courtland Avenue at 12:55 a.m. Dec. 4. The man became angry and called the officers racist, threatening to kill them after they put him in handcuffs. His BAC was 0.16. He was also wanted for breaking into four vehicles at Dave & Buster's.
37A man was arrested for drunken driving, first offense, after he was pulled over driving 50 mph in a 30-mph zone in the 8000 block of West Bluemound Road at 12:01 a.m. Dec. 5. He admitted to drinking a pitcher of beer, and his BAC was 0.10.
38A man was taken to Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital after a car hit him while he was walking at Capitol Drive and Mayfair Road at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 26. The vehicle was rolling while the driver waited for traffic.
39A vehicle's door lock was damaged in an apparent attempted theft in the 2600 block of North 85th Street between 6 p.m. Nov. 22 and 8 a.m. Nov. 24. Damage is estimated at $50.
40A vehicle's window was smashed while it was parked in the 12200 block of West Cathedral Avenue between 7 a.m. Nov. 24 and 6 a.m. Nov. 25. Total damage is estimated at $200.
41A vehicle's window was smashed and the vehicle rifled through between midnight and 6 a.m. Nov. 25. Nothing was stolen, but damage is estimated at $50.
42Two boys broke the front passenger side of a vehicle parked in an alley in the 2600 block of North 66th Street at 7:16 a.m. Dec. 4. The vehicle's owner saw the two throw a brick through the window, yelled at the two, and called the police. Before the police arrived, however, the two drove off in a silver minivan. Damage is estimated at $500.
43A vehicle's window was smashed, but nothing taken from it, while it was parked at Aliotos, 3041 N. Mayfair Road, between 6 and 7:45 p.m. Dec. 4. Total loss is estimated at $200.
Police responded to one domestic disturbance.
