1A laptop computer, music player, cellphone and jewelry were taken from a home in the 2400 block of North 70th Street after it was entered via an open window between 11:50 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. Sept. 1. Loss is estimated at $3,160.
2A videogame system, Blu-ray player and shotgun were taken from a home in the 6900 block of Auburn Avenue after a window board was pushed in between 6:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Sept. 3. Loss is estimated at $1,800.
3Fast Track, 6207 W. North Ave., had its window broken and $150 taken from its safe between 10:47 and 10:57 p.m. Sept. 3. Police are following up with a suspect.
4A television, laptop computer and jewelry were taken from a home in the 2500 block of North 64th Street between 7:45 a.m. and 7:40 p.m. Sept. 4. Loss is estimated at $1,840. An unlocked window was opened to gain entry.
5A wallet, cellphone, credit cards and $30 were taken from a home in the 2400 block of North 69th Street while its owners were sleeping between 8:30 p.m. Sept. 4 and 5 a.m. Sept. 5. Loss is estimated at $705. The perpetrator entered through a window.
6A videogame system, Blu-ray discs, DVDs and videogames were taken from an unlocked home in the 2500 block of North 72nd Street between 2:30 and 3:40 p.m. Sept. 5. Loss is estimated at $5,850. A former neighbor admitted to taking the items and pawning most of the DVDs. The gaming system and Blu-ray discs were recovered and the neighbor was arrested.
7Two laptop computers were taken from Equity Enterprises, 330 N. 121st St., between 5 p.m. Sept. 6 and 9:32 a.m. Sept. 9. Loss is estimated at $4,600. A window was smashed to gain entry.
8A snowblower was stolen from an unlocked garage in the 3400 block of North Menomonee River Parkway between 5 p.m. Sept. 10 and 10 a.m. Sept. 11. Loss is estimated at $500.
9Two bicycles were taken from an unlocked shed in the 7500 block of West Clarke Street at 9:30 p.m. Sept. 10. Loss is estimated at $800.
10Two employees of Target, 3900 N. 124th St., were arrested for employee theft after they were found altering prices for each other between 4 p.m. Aug. 25 and 4:59 p.m. Sept. 9. Loss is estimated at $914.
11A woman's wallet, which contained identification and credit cards, was stolen from a purse while its owner worked at Toys "R" Us Express at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. Aug. 29.
12A catalytic converter was taken from a truck at the Steep & Brew Warehouse, 121 N. 120th St., between 1 p.m. Aug. 30 and 4:30 a.m. Sept. 3. Loss is estimated at $2,700.
13Catalytic converters were cut off two trucks outside Royal Chimney Service, 11815 W. Dearbourn Ave., between 4 p.m. Aug. 30 and 6:30 a.m. Sept. 3. Loss is estimated at $1,400.
14A trailer was taken from the 2000 block of North 107th Street between 4 p.m. Sept. 1 and 11 a.m. Sept. 2. The trailer had been chained to a light pole; the chain was cut. Loss is estimated at $545.
15A man and woman stole $240 worth of baby formula from Target, 3900 N. 124th St., between about 7:50 p.m. Sept. 1.
16A purse was stolen from a vehicle at Buffalo Wild Wings, 2635 N. Mayfair Road, between 5 and 9 p.m. Sept. 2. One of the credit cards in the purse was then used to make a fraudulent purchase. Loss is estimated at $544. One of the vehicle's windows was smashed to gain entry.
17A man took a Kindle from Best Buy, 2421 N. Mayfair Road, at 5:07 p.m. Sept. 3.
18A man was arrested for taking $107 in merchandise from Spencer's Gifts and Zumiez at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 6:36 p.m. Sept. 3. Among items taken were shoes, magnets pins and a lanyard.
·A Wauwatosa woman's credit card was fraudulently used to make online purchases at ProFlowers and Dillards. She reported the thefts at 10:54 a.m. Sept. 4.
19A Jeep was stolen from a parking lot in the 8100 block of West North Avenue between 11:45 and 11:59 p.m. Sept. 4. The vehicle was found in Milwaukee with a missing radio and damaged steering column. Loss is estimated at $9,975.
20A man took a socket set and laser meter from The Home Depot, 4100 N. 124th St., at 5:34 p.m. Sept. 5. Store security believes the man is part of a larger group that has been taking items from stores and returning them for cash. Loss is estimated at $358.
21An aluminum downspout valued at $200 was taken from a residential property in the 1900 block of North 74th Street between Sept. 6 and Sept. 9.
22A woman was arrested for defrauding Macy's at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, after she was caught ringing up clothes at a discount and failing to ring up other items in three transactions starting at 7:40 p.m. Sept. 7. The three transactions took place within five minutes of each other and resulted in a total loss of $293. She admitted to knowing the customers and telling them she'd give them a discount.
23Eleven containers of dietary supplements were taken from The Vitamin Shoppe, 2543 N. Mayfair Road, between 10 a.m. Sept. 8 and 9 p.m. Sept. 9. Loss is estimated at $385.
24A bicycle was taken from an open garage in the 4200 block of Menomonee River Parkway at 10:19 a.m. Sept. 9. Loss is estimated at $1,100.
25Medication valued at $400 was taken from an unlocked vehicle at Pick 'n Save, 6950 W. State St., between 3:15 and 4 p.m. Sept. 10.
26A woman was arrested at 9:17 p.m. Sept. 9 after she returned to The Home Depot, 4100 N. 124th St., a day after taking merchandise from the store so she could try to return it for store credit.
27An unlocked bicycle was stolen from a backyard in the 1400 block of North 68th Street between 12:30 and 9 a.m. Sept. 11. Loss is estimated at $350.
28A woman was arrested after she was caught creating false returns for gift cards while working at The Home Depot, 4100 N. 124th St., at 1:38 p.m. Sept. 11. She rang up a total of $4,978 in false returns for her friends and family between July 27 and Sept. 10.
29Two women were arrested for taking three pairs of pants, a total value of $333, from Buckle at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 2:39 p.m. Sept. 11.
30A bicycle valued at $150 was taken from the side of a home in the 4500 block of North 110th Street between 6 p.m. Sept. 11 and 10:11 p.m. Sept. 12.
31A speaker and chargers were taken from a vehicle in the 4500 block of North 103rd Street between 8 p.m. Sept. 11 and 8:45 a.m. Sept. 12. Loss is estimated at $180. A window was broken to gain entry.
32A laptop computer was taken from a vehicle in the 10000 block of West Ruby Avenue after its window was smashed between 9 p.m. Sept. 11 and 7:15 a.m. Sept. 12. A damage estimate wasn't reported.
33A briefcase was stolen from a vehicle in the 4700 block of North 100th Street after its window was broken between 9:30 p.m. Sept. 11 and 7:30 a.m. Sept. 12. Loss is estimated at $525.
34A cellphone, GPS unit, hair care gear and a canvas bag were among the items taken from an unlocked car in the 4600 block of North 101st Street between 10 p.m. Sept. 11 and 7:30 a.m. Sept. 12. Loss is estimated at $1,100.
35A woman was arrested for taking an iPad from Target, 3900 N. 124th St., at 12:39 p.m. Sept. 12.
36Two women were arrested for taking 25 items of clothing and jewelry from Macy's at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 4:34 p.m. Sept. 12. The items had a collective value of $591.
37Electronics were taken from a vehicle with its windows rolled down at Currie Park, 3535 N. Mayfair Road, between 5:25 and 7 p.m. Sept. 12. Loss is estimated at $480.
38A woman was arrested for taking three pair of jeans from Macy's at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 3:52 p.m. Sept. 13. Loss is estimated at $362.
39Two GPS units were taken from two company vans at Walgreen's Warehouse, 1435 N. 113th St., between 5:30 p.m. Sept. 13 and 8:46 a.m. Sept. 14. The van's windows were smashed. Loss is estimated at $230. Three other vehicles had their windows smashed and items taken from them, resulting in a total loss of $700.
40A tablet computer, bag and other items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 11000 block of West Ruby Avenue at 6:43 p.m. Sept. 13. Loss is estimated at $300.
41A music player was taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 8300 block of Currie Avenue between 8 p.m. Sept. 13 and 6 a.m. Sept. 14. Loss is estimated at $150.
42A man was arrested after he was seen rummaging through a vehicle in the 8300 block of Currie Avenue at 11:50 p.m. Sept. 13. He admitted to going through six unlocked vehicles, taking items.
43A wallet was taken from a vehicle in the 9600 block of West Hampton Avenue between 3 p.m. Sept. 14 and 11:45 a.m. Sept. 15.
44A woman's wallet was taken while she was at AMC Theatre in Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, between 9:05 and 11 p.m. Sept. 14. The wallet was later found, but with $200 in cash and several credit cards missing.
45An unlocked bicycle was stolen from a bicycle rack at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, about 9:15 p.m. Sept. 14.
46A woman and a girl were arrested for drug possession after they were caught stealing a vibrator valued at $20 from Spencer's Gifts at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 4:31 p.m. Sept. 9. One had a bag of synthetic marijuana on her while the other had partially smoked blunts.
47A man was arrested for drunken driving in the 2400 block of Wauwatosa Avenue at 2:28 a.m. Sept. 3. His blood-alcohol content was 0.15.
48A man was arrested for drunken driving, third offense, after he ran into a light pole and mailbox in the 2300 block of North 113th Street at 11:45 a.m. Sept. 4. Blood test results were not available at the time of the report.
49A man was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, at Mayfair Road and Wisconsin Avenue at 8:14 p.m. Sept. 12. His BAC was 0.20.
50A woman was arrested for drunken driving in the 7700 block of West State Street at 11:54 p.m. Sept. 12. Her BAC was 0.22.
51A woman and a child were taken to Froedert and the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin respectively after the vehicle they were in was hit by another vehicle running a red light at Bluemound and North 76th Street at 7:59 a.m. Sept. 4. The man who hit them had three warrants out from Greenfield, two for battery and the third for selling alcohol to minors.
52A male was taken to the Children's Hospital after crashing his vehicle into a tree in the 4100 block of North 110th Street at 7:43 a.m. Sept. 9. He said he was driving a stick shift and when he looked down to find the gear he wanted to be in, he hit the tree.
53A man was taken to Froedtert Hospital after he pulled his car in front of another car, causing it to hit his in at 97th Street and West Bluemound Road at 10:52 p.m. Sept. 14. He said he didn't see the first driver.
54A man reported his car's brake lines were cut while it was parked in the 400 block of North 111th Street between 6 p.m. Sept. 9 and 7:45 a.m. Sept. 10. There are no suspects and damage is estimated between $200 and $300.
55A screen was torn from a window at Eisenhower Elementary, 11600 W. Center St., between 6 and 10 p.m. Sept. 13. Total damage is estimated at $50.
56Three juveniles and one adult were arrested for underage consumption, drug possession and resisting an officer after a party they were at in the 7000 block of West Wisconsin Avenue was broken up at 12:39 a.m. Sept. 2. Police were called to the area after a neighbor saw a juvenile riding on the hood of a car. The four were arrested after admitting to drinking and, after a search, one was found to have a marijuana pipe.
57A man was arrested for panhandling outside Walgreens, 2656 Wauwatosa Ave., at 8:47 p.m. Sept. 2. Witnesses say they saw a woman give him money. The man had been arrested for panhandling at Walgreens once before.
58Two men were arrested for prowling after they were found leaving a backyard in the 2500 block of North 83rd Street at 7:20 p.m. Sept. 4. Neighbors thought they looked suspicious and called the police. The two men ran and one was caught hiding by bushes while the other was caught in a tree.
59A woman was arrested for making false reports to police after she called and said she was robbed of pills by CVS Pharmacy, 7520 W. Bluemound Road, at 5:05 p.m. Sept. 12. After interviewing employees and reviewing video surveillance, police found that she hadn't been robbed.
60A male was arrested after swearing at police officers and threatening to fight them at a football game at Wauwatosa West High School, 11400 W. Center St., at 8:42 p.m. Sept. 13. He told the officers to take off their gun and badge and was tackled before being arrested.
Police responded to two domestic disturbances.
