1A doorknob was taken from the rear door of AG Industries, 4480 N. 124th St., in what police believe was an attempt to burgle it between 3:30 p.m. July 26 and 8 a.m. July 29. Police believe the knob was struck off with a large, blunt object.
2A garage in the 2300 block of North 66th Street had its window was smashed and four bicycles taken out of it between 8:20 and 10 a.m. July 30. Total loss is estimated at $1,900.
3A window was broken and jewelry taken from a home in the 2500 block of North 86th Street between 3 and 3:15 p.m. July 30. A neighbor noticed two women walking out of the driveway with tote bags and called 911. When he called, they began running. Twenty three items were taken, resulting in a total estimated loss of $4,205.
4A cellphone worth $304 was taken from a student's desk while he was attending Wauwatosa West High School, 11400 W. Center Street, between 10:30 and 11:05 a.m. July 29.
5A man was arrested for taking $200 of clothing from Macy's at Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, at 11:44 a.m. July 29. He admitted to taking the clothing, which included three shirts and two packages of clothing.
6A woman's wallet was taken while she left it on a counter in the YMCA, 2420 N. 124th St., between 5 and 6:20 p.m. July 29. In the wallet were insurance cards, a driver's license, credit cards and cash. Total loss is estimated at $122.
7Cash was taken from an unlocked car in the 600 block of North 77th Street at 12:05 a.m. July 30. The car owner's husband saw the man get out of the vehicle and called police. Between $5 and $8 was taken from the car and police weren't able to find a suspect.
Police responded to at least one theft of items valued at less than $100.
8A male was arrested for underage drinking while he was riding his bike at 12:46 a.m. July 30. After telling the officer he had a few drinks, the officer asked to search his backpack. Inside his backpack was a very small amount of marijuana. He was arrested for underage consumption but, due to the small amount of marijuana found, wasn't arrested for drug possession.
9A man was arrested for drunken driving, first offense, with a passenger under 16-years-old and having a blood alcohol content of 0.15 after he was called in for reckless driving at North 72nd and West Lloyd Streets at 8:24 p.m. July 29. His daughter was standing in the back seat and his girlfriend was in the passenger seat.
10A flower pot was kicked over and a tree broken from the front yard of a home in the 1800 block of North 81st Street between 1 and 9 a.m. July 29. The tree was pulled down, which snapped the trunk in half. Total loss is estimated at $837.
