THEFT

1Bank deposits from the at Zagg Invisible Shield kiosk in Mayfair, 2500 N. Mayfair Road, were short $1,128 between Feb. 24 and March 10.

2An MP3 player valued at $150 was taken from the fitness center at Wauwatosa East High School, 7500 Milwaukee Ave., between 12:38 p.m. Feb. 29 and 2:11 p.m. March 1.

3A 17-year-old Milwaukee girl was arrested for retail theft for taking $450 worth of clothing from four stores at Mayfair at 5:31 p.m. March 3.

4A woman walked away from Hersloff Opticians in Mayfair with eyeglass frames valued at $299 at 2:21 p.m. March 5.

5Sunglasses valued at $175 were taken from Solstice in Mayfair at 4:39 p.m. March 5.

6Two men took combination tool sets from The Home Depot, 4100 N. 124th St., at 1:34 p.m. March 6. Loss is estimated at $730.

7Two 17-year-old boys and two 18-year-old men, all from Milwaukee, were arrested for retail theft for taking boxes of candy - a total of 411 bars - valued at $353 from Pick 'n Save, 6950 W. State St., at 9:49 p.m. March 6. They attempted to hide the candy in nearby bushes.

8A 31-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for retail theft for taking $141 worth of lingerie from Kmart, 3201 N. Mayfair Road, at 1:39 p.m. March 7.

9A 22-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of stolen property after he was seen driving a vehicle that had been stolen from Milwaukee at Wauwatosa Avenue and Lincoln Place at 9:23 p.m. March 7. He said he bought the vehicle from a friend for $10. He also was arrested for driving with a suspended license.

10An MP3 player valued at $200 was taken from the fitness center at Wauwatosa East High School between 8 and 8:51 a.m. March 8.

11A 23-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for retail theft for taking two shirts, a $105 value, from Boston Store at Mayfair at 7:02 p.m. March 8. She said she had to steal as the result of losing a bet.

12A 26-year-old West Allis woman was arrested for retail theft after she took $408 from her employer, Lids, in Mayfair at 3:56 p.m. March 9. She had made eight fake returns and pocketed the cash.

13Two men took six bottles of liquor, a value of $358, from Mayfair Liquor, 3122 N. Mayfair Road, at 11:28 a.m. March 10.

The Wauwatosa Police Department responded to six thefts of items valued at less than $100 in the past week.

ASSAULTS

14A 13-year-old Waukesha boy was arrested for battery and disorderly conduct for starting a fight with a girl in the cafeteria at Whitman Middle School, 11100 W. Center St., at 12:26 p.m. March 5. He punched the girl in the face several times, then pushed an administrator and punched a teacher in the chest as they tried to break up the fight.

15Two 15-year-old boys were arrested for battery after they jumped a fellow resident in the hallway of Carmelite Home for Boys, 1214 Kavanaugh Place, at 4:02 p.m. March 6.

DRUG POSSESSION

16A 19-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia after he was stopped because of a burned-out headlight in the 9500 block of Wisconsin Avenue at 7:51 p.m. March 3.

17A 15-year-old boy was arrested for possession of 0.24 grams of marijuana at Wauwatosa East High School at 11:33 a.m. March 5. A teacher noticed he kept looking at his watch. It was a fake, with drugs hidden behind the dial.

18A 29-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for marijuana possession in the parking lot of the Super 8 motel, 115 N. Mayfair Road, at 10:03 p.m. March 9. She had 0.46 grams of the drug in her car.

19An 18-year-old Wauwatosa man was arrested for drug dealing and drug paraphernalia possession at 90th Street and Menomonee River Parkway at 3:50 p.m. March 11, after he was found to have marijuana and psychedelic mushrooms in his vehicle. He said he sells the marijuana but keeps the mushrooms for his own use.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

20A 36-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving at Bluemound Road and 74th Street at 12:44 a.m. March 4. His blood-alcohol content was 0.21.

21A 29-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, third offense, driving after his license had been revoked and drug paraphernalia possession after he was seen driving erratically at Mayfair Road and Burleigh Street at 2:01 a.m. March 7. He couldn't take a breath test because he was throwing up, so a blood sample was taken. He had a marijuana pipe in his possession.

22A 64-year-old Wauwatosa woman was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, after she drank a bottle of wine at a home in the 7300 block of Blanchard Street then decided to head to the store in her bathrobe for another bottle at 4:20 p.m. March 8. Her neighbor called when he noticed her having trouble backing out of her driveway. She had knocked down his gas meter on numerous occasions, so he had set up boulders around it. She was arrested when she returned from the store.

ACCIDENTS

23An 18-year-old woman was taken to Aurora West Allis Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries after the vehicle in which she was a passenger was struck in the 9700 block of West Wisconsin Avenue at 11:53 a.m. March 6. The driver of the striking vehicle, a 54-year-old man, was cited for making an improper right turn.

VANDALISM

24A taxi's roof sign and passenger-side mirror were damaged in the 8600 block of West North Avenue between 2 and 7 a.m. March 8. Damage is estimated at $400.

25Two boys shooting a BB gun caused $200 in damage to three windows in the pavilion at Jacobus Park, 6501 W. Hillside Lane, at 2 p.m. March 8.

26Racial slurs and a drawing of a marijuana leaf were spray-painted on the tunnel of the bridge that crosses over the 1600 block of Martha Washington Drive prior to 5:55 p.m. March 12.

OTHER

27Two 17 year-old Milwaukee boys were arrested for habitual truancy at Wauwatosa East about 10:10 a.m. March 5. Each had been truant part or all of more than 20 school days.

28A 17-year-old West Allis girl was arrested for being truant 19 times from Wauwatosa East at 1:48 p.m. March 6.

29A 23-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for disorderly conduct when a verbal fight with his girlfriend became physical in the parking lot of Mayfair at 2:21 p.m. March 6.

30An 18-year-old Wauwatosa man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he urinated behind PNC Bank at 68th and State streets at 5:57 p.m. March 6. He had a bottle of wine in his pocket.

31A 15-year-old Wauwatosa girl was arrested for habitual truancy at Wauwatosa East after she failed to finish her first-semester online courses and didn't register for second-semester classes prior to 3:13 p.m. March 9. She uses the East computers to do her work but hadn't shown up for several days.9

33A 17-year-old Wauwatosa boy was arrested for underage drinking and a 23-year-old Elm Grove woman was arrested for drug paraphernalia possession after they climbed to the roof of Wauwatosa Presbyterian Church, 2388 N. 80th St., at 9:45 p.m. March 10. He had a bottle of liquor and a BAC of 0.19. She had a marijuana pipe.

The Wauwatosa Fire Department responded to 83 incidents including one vehicle accident and 68 calls for emergency medical service.
