A woman was robbed of her purse and car in a Walgreens parking lot Sunday afternoon.
According to Wauwatosa police:
As she exited the store at 2656 Wauwatosa Avenue at 3:10 p.m., she saw a man walking between cars. He followed her, and as she opened her car door, he asked for directions.
Within seconds, he reached into his coat and said "this is a stickup." He demanded she give him her car keys or threatened to shoot her. Then he grabbed the purse around her wrist.
The robber pushed the victim away and jumped into her 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee and drove away.
