Barbara Huth (nee Schrode) died Aug. 22, 2009, at age 68.
Barb devoted her life to family, friends, genealogy research, travel and numerous charitable organizations. She was especially active in Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, the Milwaukee County Historical Society and the Wauwatosa school system. In 2003, she was honored by the Historical Society for her volunteer efforts. In addition, Barb also worked at Price Erecting and, along with her husband and business partners, founded the Soccer Shoppe in Wauwatosa.
She is survived by her children, Susanne (Daniel) Isaacson of Weeki Wachee, Fla., and Erik (Kay) of Aztalan; grandchildren, Sara and Ian Isaacson; sister, Marge (Ernst) Macht of Kenosha; sister-in-law, Diane Drott of Brookhaven, Penn.; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry "Herr Huth."
Service was Aug. 26.
Memorials are suggested to Mt. Zion Lutheran Church or the Next Door Foundation.
Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral and Cremation Service handled the arrangements.
