Warren T. Scheuer

Warren T. "Ted" Scheuer died April 27, 2009, at age 82, at Doctors Hospital Sarasota, Fla., after a battle with pulmonary hypertension.

At his side was wife and caregiver Kate Guerin Scheuer. Ted was a World War II Navy serviceman, father, friend, teacher and coach at Wauwatosa East High School and Longfellow Junior High.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 18155 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield, at 11:30 a.m. today, May 28. Visitation will take place from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Memorials are suggested to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association, 801 Roeder Road, Suite 400, Silver Spring, MD 20910.

Thanks are given to family and friends for all the loving support and care they gave for so many years. Thanks also to Dr. Kenneth Presberg and the staff at Froedtert Hospital and Dr. John Swisher and the staff in Sarasota for helping to ease Ted's journey.

Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral and Cremation Services handled the arrangements.
