Wilma Claire Liffring Drake of Spartanburg, S.C., formerly of Wauwatosa, died Feb. 1, 2009, at age 97.
She was born on Nov. 24, 1911, in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of the late William James and Claire Gorman Liffring. She was a graduate of the University of Toledo.
She is survived by her sons, William B. (Judy) Drake of Spartanburg, James Richard (Bridgit) Drake of Woodland Hills, Calif., and Thomas Lavern (Eileen) Drake of Chicago; grandchildren, Dan Drake, Kelly Drake, Casey Drake, Christina Drake, Kevin Drake, John Drake and Michael Drake; great-grandchildren, Taylor Hull, James Drake, River Drake, Caitlyn Rudisil and Abbie Rudisil; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lavern Bennett Drake.
