Walter "Bud" Millies of Wauwatosa died Jan. 18, 2009, at age 81.
He served in the Merchant Marines and the Army. He is a proud retiree of Max Weiss Co.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Patricia (nee Schmid); children, Jeffrey (Debra), John (Julia), Mark and Shirley (Steven) Lesniewski; grandchildren, Josh (Nora), Jim, Jodi, Jason, Kristin, Kimberly, Michael, Evan, Kyle, Kayla, Katie and Sarah; sister, Shirley (Ed) Sell; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Hertha; and sister, Delores.
Service was Jan. 22. Interment was at Graceland Cemetery.
Church and Chapel Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
