He was a proud member of Teamster Local 200. His passions included his houseboat, Oldies music, the good friends he made, and especially his '55 Chevy. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and quick wit, his kind heart and his strength and bravery.

He is survived by his children, Christine (Nathan) Bonneau and Timothy (Theresa) Dixon; their mother, Isabel Dixon; his grandchildren, Cole, Ian, Anna Mae, Truman, Grace and Caitlin; sister, Eileen (Jerome) Eisner; nieces, Beth Ann (John) Lee and Kimberly Eisner; aunt and uncle, Margaret Goecks and Charles Scalish; special friend, Sharon Sherman; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Congetta Dixon.

Service was Dec. 30. Private cemetery services were held.

Memorials are suggested to the Aurora VNA Zilber Family Hospice or the American Brain Tumor Association.

The family thanks the staff at Zilber Hospice for their special care and compassion and Dr. Mark Malkin and his staff at Froedtert.

Becker Ritter Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
