Thousands turn out at zoo
for EFW's annual Walk/Run

EFW Walk/Run An estimated 3,000 children, parents and school staff members were at the Milwaukee County Zoo on May 10 to take part in the Education Foundation of Wauwatosa's annual Walk/Run. WauwatosaNOW.com, a sponsor of the event, was there and captured images of some the festivities.

Student bands rock Tosa East

NOW Photo by Mary Catanese Wauwatosa East High School was the stage of a battle of the bands competition called Launchpad, in which 16 bands from area high school competed. After more than six hours of music, three bands walked away with top honors in the regional competition and advance to the state contest in Madison.

Holly Hopton Congratulations to Holly and Ruby Hopton of Milwaukee, who were voted the winners in the MyCommunityNOW.com and MilwaukeeMoms.com Mother-Daughter Look-Alike Contest.Mother and daughter each will receive a $250 savings account courtesy of Johnson Bank.
