Gas Pains
Tom grew up in Milwaukee, bartended in Wauwatosa in the '70s and moved here in 1984.
Commentary, observations and musings about the outdoors, life in general and maybe Tosa politics and personalities will be the order of the day. He savors a lively debate as much as terrific cooking.
Olympic Curling - Exceedingly More Exciting Than Alpine Skiing or Figure Skating
Ice sports can certainly be exciting, eh?
I've been to Vancouver a number of times and I'm getting really excited about the Winter Olympics. I've even been to the Vancouver Curling Club. Those lucky ducks got an entire new curling facility courtesy of the Canadian Olympic Committee.
Here's an interesting bit of curling trivia-
With every winter games - interest in curling soars. So I would like to spread the good word that the Wauwatosa Curling Club stands ready to quench your thirst for the sport of curling and maybe a cold one when you've come off the ice.
Come to our Open House. We're conveniently located in the Muellner Building over at Hart Park.
Saturday and Sunday - February 27 and 28 - 1 to 5 PM
