Parish Seniors Honored
This May, forty-one seniors at Divine Savior Holy Angels
High School, Milwaukee, received the Salvatorian Service
Award. The Salvatorian Service Award was initiated in 1988
as part of the Sisters of the Divine Savior (SDS) centennial
celebration. The award is given to Divine Savior Holy Angels
seniors who have given service to others on an extraordinary
level. It is a senior award of excellence that is
born of values for education that signal compassionate love
in the lives of these young leaders.
DSHA Senior Award Recipients from St. Bernard are:
Alison Heinen and Rebecca Skrade~~~~~
Divine Savior Holy Angels (DSHA) is proud to
announce that junior, Mary Rose Gietl was therecipient of the English Student of the Year Award at the
Honors Day assembly. Mary was also the honored recipient
of the Sarah M. Hegarty Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship
was begun after Sarah Hegarty, a DSHA student,
passed away at the age of 17, shortly after receiving a triple
organ transplant. Having the memorial donations given to
DSHA to establish a scholarship in Sarah's name, this
scholarship is given to a current junior who exhibits leadership
qualities, is goal oriented, has strong character, and
shows a friendly charisma to reach out to all people.
