From students’ scores to athletics to co-curricular activities and events, the 2007-2008 school year was a mega-success at St. Bernard Parish School in the heart of Wauwatosa! Below is just a glimpse of the many accomplishments of the parish school this past year.As expected, St. Bernard School students did extremely well on WKCE-CRT and Iowa Basics Standardized Testing. Parents, administration, faculty, and parishioners are so proud of the students! The eighth grade girls’ and boys’ basketball teams did well and had fun in the Padre Serra Tournament in March. The boys’ team even advanced to the “Sweet 16” of this special, historic tourney. Hats off to all of our athletes: from physical education with Mr. Palachek, to girls’ and boys’ volleyball, and, of course, basketball.
Our middle school forensics team led by Mrs. Keelan, and Mrs. Gebhard, was a run-away success! The team of boys and girls took THIRD IN STATE for small schools! Awesome job done by all! What hard work and talent was shown by these youngsters! Your talents are true gifts.
