Global Warming - a myth
I recently read the Journal/Sentinel editorials and both are interesting and at opposite sides of the debate

Most agree on effect
So now, according to letter writer Bob Mazzone, people who want to protect the environment from preventable pollutants and the potentially devastating effects of global warming are ignorant? ("A glut of ignorance," June 23) Wow, talk about the pot calling the kettle black! The evidence of the impact of manmade carbon dioxide emissions on the global climate is overwhelming. The vast majority of those in the scientific community, who are far more knowledgeable than the average citizen on this issue, agree with this evidence.
It's interesting that Mazzone cites the Dark Ages in his letter, since this was a period of time when the sciences were banned in favor of, basically, mythology. It is uninformed people such as Mazzone who would lead us back to the Dark Ages, perhaps literally.

There's no consensus
To Todd Firer, who wrote the June 30 letter "Most agree on effect": Evidence supporting global warming/climate change is far from overwhelming. Perhaps Mr. Firer missed the news story about the more than 31,000 scientists, 9,000 of whom hold PhDs, who signed a petition stating that the evidence for man-made global warming simply doesn't add up. Perhaps he missed reports saying that the Earth is coming out of a little Ice Age. Perhaps he forgets 20 years or so ago, when global cooling was posited as the doom of the planet and all mankind.
I will give Mr. Firer credit, however, for citing the Dark Ages as a time when mythology ruled. Much of the current global warming hysteria certainly qualifies as mythology.
Daniel Cooper

I tend to follow along the lines of what Daniel Cooper is stating about Global Warming, we just do not have enough evidence to determine if it is not just a natural cycle of the Earth or that we as humans are causing global warming. We just do not know enough to jump to any conclusions.
All I really know is that Al Gore (who invented the internet) does not live what he preaches.
Hey that is just "MY TWO CENTS"
