September – “Socks and Undy Sundays”
Your “gifts” of socks and underwear will be delivered to the following 2 shelters:
REPAIRERS OF THE BREACH
Items needed are: socks (preferably white) and new underwear (all sizes).
Repairers of the Breach is a daytime shelter and resource center for homeless people located on 14th & Vliet. Its mission is to "bring forth homeless people to act collectively to change the present conditions under which they live, through advocacy/education and direct action."
THE GUEST HOUSE
The Guest House is a shelter for homeless men located on 13th & Kilbourn. It’s programs include emergency shelter, housing, education, substance abuse treatment and pre-employment preparation.
DONATIONS from the public are gladly accepted during regular business hours at the Parish Office M-F or during Masses on weekends.
